The main activities of the Unit is Research & Development (R&D), services and consultancy. The Unit comprises of four main sections i.e. administration, factory operation, general/industrial rubber products and retread. Factory operation consists of manufacturing and processing, process control laboratory, vulcanisation and maintenance.
