Research Presentation, 2008 Plan of Action & Revised Rubber
Strategy Workshop
MA Workshop on the 2007 Research Presentation, 2008 Plan of Action (POA) and Revised Rubber Strategy (RRS) was held from 16 to 18 December 2007 in Malaysian Hevea Academy, RRIM, Sg. Buloh. It was chaired by Dr Mohd Akbar Md Said, Deputy Director General (Research and Innovation) of Malaysia Rubber Board.
The 3-day workshop was attended by Head of Units from Technology & Engineering Division, Production Development Division, Extension & Development Division, Economics & Rubber Exchange Division and Support Services Division. Research fellows were also invited to strengthen feedbacks.
The objective of the workshop was to present the status of focused activities which was agreed for the year 2007 in the Retreat held in Port Dickson and to outline the POA of those activities for the year 2008. Besides that, this workshop also discussed the proposed amendments to the RRS based on issues related to all units in MRB.
