Y.Bhg. Datuk Wira Ismail Saleh, Secretary General, Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities visited the new site for MRB Research Station in Bukit Kuantan, Pahang on 19 May 2009.
Y.Bhg. Datuk Wira and Y.Bhg. Dato' Dr Kamarul Baharain Basir, Director General of MRB were briefed by Dr Mohd Nasarudin Md Aris on the nursery programmes that will be implement at the new station. Mr Ahmad Othman also briefed the guests on the infrastructure development progress of the new station.
As a memento to the visit, YBhg Datuk Wira and Dato' Dr Kamarul Baharain Basir planted a rubber tree at the new site of MRB Research Station, Bukit Kuantan.
