	Congratulations and Welcome Back Congratulations to YB Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui for having retained his parliamentary seat in the recent election and welcome back as the Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities (MPIC). YB Datuk Peter who hails from Sibu, Sarawak returns to the Ministry for a second term. He was first appointed as the Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities in 2004. YB Datuk Peter holds a Bachelor Degree in Law from Gray's Inn, London. Prior to his appointment at the Federal level he was the Chairman of Miri Municipal Council. He was first appointed as the Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Welfare. In 1990, Datuk Peter Chin was appointed as Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation and in 1995 as Deputy Minister of Housing and Local Government before being promoted to the current post.   back
