A
warm welcome to Y Bhg Datuk Wira Ismail Salleh who has been appointed
as Secretary General, Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities
with effect from 26 May 2008. He succeeds Y Bhg Datu Dr Michael Dosim
Lunjew who retired on 25 May 2008. Datuk Wira Ismail's vast experience
in the government at both the federal and state levels, holds him
in good stead and would surely benefit the commodity sector immensely.
He attended the Ministry's Monthly Assembly held at the RRIM Research
Station in Sungai Buloh on his first day of duty.
