IPG and PAT-G Briefing in Padang Rengas

Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) has organised a briefing session on Rubber Transaction Authority Permit (PAT-G) and Rubber Production Incentive (IPG) in Dewan Belia, Padang Rengas, Perak. The session was participated by more than 150 local smallholders. Also present is Dr Suarni Sumormo, MRB Deputy Director General (Policy & Operations) and En Shahrir Mohd Salleh, MRB Perak Director.

The objective of the session is to share information on PAT-G and IPG directly to smallholders. In addition, a briefing on Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) was also conducted to increase smallholders knowledge in GAP especially in producing high yielding and good quality raw materials. A session of Q&A was also held to encourage smallholders to voice out their opinions or any problems in rubber related issue. Some of the questions that were highlighted include ceiling price for rubber, wintering aid and IPG applications.
