The launching Ceremony of Pertubuhan Usahawan Getah Bumiputera Malaysia (PUBGM) and Briefing on Licencing Transformation by Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB)

The launching ceremony of Pertubuhan Usahawan Getah Bumiputera Malaysia (PUBGM) and Briefing on Licencing by MRB was held at the Dewan Jubli Dewan Jubli Emas, Bandar Kuala Lipis, Pahang on 21 July 2017. The ceremony was attended by 350 smallholders and was officiated by YB Dato’ Haji Abdul Rahman Haji Mohamad, the member of parliament for Lipis. Also present were YBrs Dr Haji Suarni Sumormo, Deputy Director General (Policy & Operations) of MRB and En Arshad Hj Mukhtar, President of PUGBM.

PUBGM was formed in December 2016 to safeguard the interest and welfare of Bumiputera members who are directly involved in rubber activities such as smallholders, dealers and entrepreneurs of which are among the holders of the Rubber Transaction Authorities Permit (PAT-G) and licences issued by MRB.

The programme also witnessed a signing ceremony session between PUBGM, Takaful Malaysia and AlloyMTD. Apart from the launching ceremony, briefings on current rubber industry issues, licencing, rubber quality and PAT- G were also held.
