The Ministry of Youth and Sports organised an event, Program Himpunan Jutaan Belia 2012 held from 23 to 27 May 2012 in Putrajaya and the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities (MPIC) was involved with in this programme.
Malaysian Rubber Board as an agency under the MPIC, was invited to participate in this programme through an exhibition with the the latex painting and career opportunities as the main content. The target audience that attended the event were youth from around the country. The main objective of MRB is to inform and educate the youth on the opportunities available in the rubber industry. In addition, the MRB also opened a stall selling items such as the rubber tree trunks, pencil holders, keychains and latex paintings.
