The Malaysian Rubber Board organised the National Licensing Seminar for Nursery Operators on 10 July and was officiated by YB Tan Sri Bernard Dompok, the Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities. More than 400 nursery operators participated in the seminar including those from Sabah and Sarawak.
The objective of the seminar was to update and provide information on the latest amendments to the Licensing Regulations which is awaiting approval. This seminar provided an opportunity and platform for the engagement between MRB and the nursery operators.
In conjunction with the seminar, the Best Practices Nursery Operator was awarded to RSSB, Pulau Condong, Machang. This award was presented to give due recognition to operators and the award was presented by the Minister.
