Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) participated at the MALAYSIAN AGRICULTURE, HORTICULTURE & AGROTOURISM SHOW 2006 or MAHA 2006, which was held at Malaysia Agro - Exposition Park, MARDI Serdang, Selangor from 21 - 27 November 2006. MAHA 2006 was officiated by the Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
MRB promoted and publicised her activities
and services and also took the opportunity to educate the public on
rubber cultivation, processing and manufacturing of rubber products.
Inline with MAHA's theme "Agriculture is Business", RRIMCORP, MRB's
consultancy arm, highlighted their activities and services.
Demonstrations on the making of latex flowers, balloons as give-aways and "Guess the number of Rubber Seeds" contest attracted a crowd to the MRB booth daily.
MAHA 2006 was organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Malaysia together with Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) and Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).
