Among the agenda of the 57th AGM meeting is a presentation on MRE performance in 2019, issues of MRE as well as MRE proposed activities in 2021 in line with the MRE function established for the promotion, development and proper conduct of the rubber trade in Malaysia.

In conjunction with the AGM meeting, MRE has organized a Briefing Session from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM) on the "Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Scheme". The briefing session was delivered by Puan Asha Menon (Senior Assistant Director of Customs I) and Tuan Salleh bin Samuri (Senior Assistant Director of Customs I) from the Royal Malaysian Customs headquarters, Putrajaya. The AEO scheme involves the movement of goods along the international trade supply chain that meets the security standards set and accredited by the member states of the World Customs Organization (WCO). The scheme encourages electronic transactions to ensure better management of import and export supply chain security and is seen to provide additional benefits to industrial companies in trade operations.
