IntroductionThe Malaysian Rubber Board in its effort to address various issues and problems faced by the Rubber Industry will be conducting various types of courses on aspects of upstream and downstream activities for nation building and development towards achieving excellence in Vision 2020. Participation Applications are opened to all staff of government agencies, statutory bodies and private sectors from management and supervisory levels who are involved directly or indirectly in the Rubber Industry. Individuals who are interested are also encouraged to participate. Objectives
Venue The courses will be held at the Malaysian Hevea Academy, Sg Buloh, Selangor Darul Ehsan complete with a pilot SMR Factory, laboratory, air-conditioned lecture halls, auditorium, library, hotel banquet hall, recreation facilities and sophisticated audiovisual aids. Malaysian Hevea Academy is only 5 kilometres from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang, Selangor. Lecture All lectures will be delivered in English and Bahasa Melayu by senior officers of the institute and selected guest lecturers where necessary. The curriculum also includes tutorials, discussions and field visits. Fees - Exclusive of food and lodging
Payment for Food/Lodging Food and lodging at Malaysian Hevea Academy, Sg. Buloh, Selangor Darul Ehsan can be arranged with payment based an current rate. All payments should be made payable to "LEMBAGA GETAH MALAYSIA" by crossed Cheque/Money Order/Bank Draft together with the application form prior to the commencement of the course. Refund of Fees Full refund will be made if notice of withdrawal is given in writing at least two weeks before the commencement of the course but only 75% refund for withdrawal during the week proceeding the course. No refund will be made after the commencement of the course. Evaluation/Certification Course evaluation will be conducted at the end of each course to get participants' views on the running of the courses so that improvements can be made (if necessary). At the same time feedback can also be obtained from the participants on the benefits of the course. On completion of the course, participants will be awarded certificates of attendance.
