This method is also applicable for compounded latex.
2 LGM18ISC/N-001R3 55.00 MS ISO 37: 2015 Rubber, vulcanized or thermoplastic - Determination of tensile stress-strain properties (Second revision) (ISO 37:2011, IDT) This Malaysian Standard describes a method for the determination of the tensile stress-strain properties of vulcanized and thermoplastic rubbers. The properties which can be determined are tensile strength, elongation at break, stress at a given elongation, elongation at a given stress, stress at yield and elongation at yield.
3 LGM18ISC/N-002R2 55.00 MS ISO 4662:2013 Rubber, vulcanized or thermoplastic - Determination of rebound resilience (First revision) (ISO 4662:2009, IDT) This Malaysian Standard specifies two methods for determining the rebound resilience of rubber the hardness of which lies between 30 IRHD and 85 IRHD. They are the pendulum method and the tripsometer method.
With the pendulum method, a mass with a spherical end impacts a flat test piece, firmly held but free to bulge. The kinetic energy of the impacting mass is measured immediately before and after impact.

With the tripsometer method, a flat test piece is impacted by a hemisphere mounted on the periphery of a disc which is supported on an axle andcaused to rotate by an off-axis mass. The kinetic energy of the impacting mass is measured immediately before and after impact.
4 LGM18ISC/N-004C2 55.00 MS ISO 9026: 2013 RAW RUBBER OR UNVULCANIZED COMPOUNDS - DETERMINATION OF GREEN STRENGTH (FIRST REVISION) (ISO 9026:2007, IDT) This Malaysian Standard specifies a method for the determination of the green strength of raw rubber or unvulcanized rubber compounds using a tensile stress-strain test, the test pieces being prepared following standard test conditions or cut from calendered sheets
5 LGM18ISC/N-005C3 55.00 MS 1392:1998, Including AMD. 1:2001 TEST METHOD FOR THE ANALYSIS OF EXTRACTABLE PROTEINS IN NATURAL RUBBER PRODUCTS) This Malaysian Standard provides an analytical test method for determining the quantity of total extractable proteins in natural rubber (NR) products. The test comprises essentially four parts namely sample preparation, protein extraction, protein precipitation and colourimetric assay.
6 LGM18ISC/N-006C4 55.00 MS 281: PART 12:2001 NATURAL RUBBER LATEX CONCENTRATE : PART 12 : DETERMINATION OF BORIC ACID CONTENT (THIRD REVISION) This Malaysian Standard specifies a procedure for the determination of boric acid in natural rubber latex concentrate. The procedure is not necessarily suitable for latices from natural sources other than Hevea brasilliensis or for Iatices of synthetic rubber, compounded latex, vulcanized latex or artificial dispersions of rubber.
7 LGM18ISC/N-007C5 55.00 MS 1359: PART 7:1995 TEST METHOD FOR TECHNICALLY SPECIFIED RAW NATURAL RUBBER : PART 7: DETERMINATION OF MOONEY ACCELERATED STORAGE - HARDENING TEST (MASHT) This Malaysian Standard specifies a method of measuring the storage hardening of raw natural rubber using the Mooney shearing disc viscometer.
8 LGM18ISC/N-008C6 55.00 MS 1359: PART 8:1995 TEST METHODS FOR TECHNICALLY SPECIFIED RAW NATURAL RUBBER : PART 8 : DETERMINATION OF WALLACE ACCELERATED STORAGE - HARDENING TEST (WASHT) This Malaysian Standard specifies a method of measuring the accelerated storage hardening of raw natural rubber using the Wallace plastimeter.
9 LGM18ISC/N-008WO1 40.20 MS ISO 2878:2008 RUBBER , VULCANIZED - ANTISTATIC AND CONDUCTIVE PRODUCTS - DETERMINATION OF ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE (ISO 2878:2005, IDT) This Malaysian Standard specifies a method of determining the electrical resistance of antistatic and conductive products manufactured wholly or in part from rubber whose electrical resistance measured between defined points, when new, does not exceed 3 x 10 8 and whose conductivity is derived from the addition of carbon black and/or other appropriate substances to the bulk of the material.

This International Standard specifies the electrode configuration for basic geometries but reference should be made to relevant product specifications for requirements for specific products.
It does not apply to:
a) products were the relevant surfaces are composed of mixtures of insulating and conductive areas;
b) products with a substantial surface area of insulating material (except for footwear, which does not normally have a conductive or antistatic upper).
10 LGM18ISC/N-009WO2 40.20 MS ISO 34-2:2010 RUBBER, VULCANIZED OR THERMOPLASTIC - DETERMINATION OF TEAR STRENGTH - PART 2: SMALL(DELFT) TEST PIECES (FIRST REVISION) (ISO 34-2:2007, IDT) This Malaysian Standard specifies a method for the determination of the tear strength of small test pieces (Delft test pieces) of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubber.

NOTE. The method does not necessarily give results agreeing with those given by the method described in ISO 34-1, which uses trouser, angle and crescent test pieces. It is used in preference to ISO 34-1 when the available material is limited, and may be particularly suitable for testing small finished products.
11 LGM18ISC/N-010WO3 40.20 MS ISO 6943:2010 RUBBER, VULCANIZED OR THERMOPLASTIC - DETERMINATION OF TENSION FATIGUE (FIRST REVISION) (ISO 6943:2007, IDT) This Malaysian Standard describes a method for the determination of resistance of vulcanized rubbers to fatigue under repeated tensile deformations, the test piece size and frequency of cycling being such that there is little or no temperature rise. Under these conditions, failure results from the growth of a crack that ultimately severs the test piece.
12 LGM18ISC/N-011WO4 40.20 MS 2450:2012 RUBBER, VULCANIZED OR THERMOPLASTIC - DETERMINATION OF ADHESION TO RIGID SUBSTRATE - 90 PEEL METHOD (FIRST REVISION) (ISO 813:2010, IDT) This Malaysian Standard specifies a method for the determination of the adhesive strength of a vulcanized or thermoplastic rubber bonded to a rigid substrate, using a test piece comprising a strip of rubber bonded to a single plate or rigid material.

The method is applicable primarily to test pieces prepared in the laboratory under standard conditions, such as may be used to provide data for the choice of rubber compounds or adhesive systems, the development of such materials and the control of manufacturing processes.

NOTE. This method is not suitable for high-hardness rubbers.
